Sleepless 10th day of July

I was kind of tired yesterday coz I lost nearly half of my salary inside our company's c.r. I didn't complain or asked for anyone's assistance to help me find it because, I bet, no one's gonna return it anymore. (And whoever found it.... tsk..)

Right after my shift, I went back to my boarding house and lay down on my bed feeling so tired and depressed. My roommate ate Abby tried to cheer me up but still, those feelings remain. We had our dinner together and at 10pm I went to bed to rest.

But in the middle of my deep sleep, somebody was calling and it disturbed me. I guess, no one in this world wanted to be disturbed in the middle of the night just to accept a call! (Well unless you know the person calling or it's an emergency.) The unregistered number called trice. The last thing I did was to turn off my phone, go back to my bed and recall my dream. However, nothing happens, I stayed awake in the middle of the night, trying to slumber again. Then again, nothing happens. :(

Now, I am feeling so tired and drowsy. That's the worst night ever! I hope I can stay awake until my shift is over.

I can't explain why I love Sponge Bob very much. It's maybe because I can see myself in him. A true friend, someone who will do everything for the sake of friendship.

I'm a fan. :) Silly, but yes, its true. I know kids only love Sponge Bob, Patrick the Star, Squidward, Plankton and Mr. Krabs. But, I should include myself in the list of those 'kids' who love these cute cartoon characters. And because of that, I wanna collect T-shirts with their faces on it!

I hope before 2013 ends, I'll have all these :) #hoping

Hello Mr. Sun Flower!

Sun plus flowers equals Ligao City! Hello Sun flower City!

It was a big opportunity visiting the Biconlandias Sun flower farm at Tuburan, Ligao Albay.

 

 

Located near the Kawa Kawa Nature Park, the Sun flower farm had become one of the most visited place in Albay. The local government of the said place did the initiative of growing thousands of sunflowers to add attraction to its visitors, be it local or tourist.

 

I enjoyed my two-day stay there. Thanks to the Dioceses of Legazpi Summer Youth Camp 2013.

The place was just two rides away from Bacacay Porper and one ride away from Legazpi City. It was an unplanned outing. Actually, that day was raining cats and dogs.But for the sake of jamming, we still went there. Entrance is 50Php. Visitors can stay and choose their cottages with price ranging from 100-300Php. Rooms are also available at Barrios.

This photo was taken when we tour around the islet. The islet is one ride away from Pili-Ilawod port, it takes 10 minutes motor boat ride.





 And yah.. that's me :) Second time at Omagob Island with a college batchmate. She saw my photos on Facebook. She got interested with the island hopping thing, that's why the day before she went back to Manila for her work, she dropped by our house and we visit the island. She just love adventures. Am I right Kathleen Carbillon? :)



LUCKY Mae!

LUCKY. That’s the only word I could describe myself as her daughter.

She is my life, my idol. She never failed to make me feel how important I am as her first born baby.

I remember when the time she first knew that I already have a boyfriend; she talked to me while crying. I do not know the meaning of her tears, until I and my boyfriend broke off. She told me that I was too young to enter into that kind of relationship. She reminded me that sending me to school and giving me their full support on my chosen course is their responsibility as my parents so I must do my part as their daughter too.

“Study first,” she said.

“Dawa pagkatapos mo umagom ka tulos bahala ka basta tumapos ka muna,” she added.

Those words were left indelibly on my mind.

Though I gave her lots of frustrations and disappointments, she never stopped reminding me with her wisdom and encouragements to pursue what I want.

"You are big enough. You already know what is right and what is wrong."

Now its my turn to give back what you had given me. I love you ma, mudrax, inang mader!

Thank you so much for everything. I fail you trice, I swear I wont do those stupid things again. I'll finish what I had started. Thank you for the unlimited trust and love!

The Game of Making a Promise

It has been quite a while the last time I opened this blog. Most of my updates are delayed. I find no time updating my post since I was sent to a long period of vacation. Now that I am back, I’ll try my best, I mean I will do my best to update this blog day by day..

Got something to share here! I find a very silly but clever article from techcrunch.com. It is all about a new app for iOS phones. Its title caught my attention while browsing the site. Honestly, I was looking for an article to be submitted to our client. The title goes this way “PromiseUP Launches To Gamify Your Promises So That You’ll Keep Them”. Then out of curiosity I clicked the link and started reading it. I learned that the app will enable its users to make their own promises, do it or break it, in a “gamified” way.

The app is a game. A game that will make all users accountable and reliable with the things they say they’ll do. Wew! But I think making a promise must not be taken as a game. Though the app aims to make the world a better place to live in, I doubt that each of every user will be honest enough to tell that they had broken the promise. It will always be enticed with feeling of frustration and disappointment. Well, I just hate those feelings. >__<

However, I find the “PAYING” thing clever. With the app, users are entitled to pay UP dollar, the app’s currency, if they fail to make the promise. If all promise-making will be played like this, maybe I am wealthy now, knowing that my ex had broken so many promises! J The one which has a bigger impact costs high! J Back off with the bitterness..

Anyway, I wanna try it, earn some points and swap it with real prizes. The problem is my phone is not an iOS phone .. J

A best friend love

Valentines is not only for those who are in love, in a relationship, in an open relation, it is also for those who have fallen out of  it yet happy.

February 14 had been an official date to celebrate LOVE..(aside from Christmas.) Everybody seems to be very excited when this date comes. Flowers, choc'lates, love songs, romance are just some of what people define it. But for me, it is not all about those material things.. It is about staying in love (not only to a lover) but to all the people who cares for you and never stop showing you what a true love is.

This is for my best friend who never stopped showing love and care for me.. Our second year of celebrating Valentines is just another year to our Friendship ;)
